My Musical Expression

Incarcerated within your self

These days we walk around lifeless and incarcerated, imprisoned by our own routines. The little free time we have at the end of the day, we use to relax and enjoy some “me” time.

But why not express yourself and give back to others?

“Well because I just spent a whole day dealing with others, and I want to spend time with my thoughts”.

But why not use those interactions to fuel a creative outlet, whether it was listening to people complain all day about their sandwiches having too little pickles in them or having witnessed the smiles of all your students once they learned that any number times zero is still zero.

Everyday we experience a multitude of emotions to varying degrees, and each one of those emotional trips are an opportunity to create the next classic novel or the one song that seduces tears out of your eyes. Many times we forget that you don’t need to be a professional to write a story, paint a picture, or even create a sculpture.

It is in our human nature to express ourselves, which is why i’ve decided to tap into my inner caveman and make music. I wanted to create an outlet for all the stories I’ve witnessed, both with my eyes and in my mind; to make people think about their actions, about the future, and about life in general. Music is not about making money or about dancing in the club, but rather it is to unite soul and body in an experience guided by soundwaves.
